System 8 weighing approximately 15Kg (depending on configuration) is a long storage, battery backed deployable system capable as operating as a divers or portable light from battery or mains at depths in excess of 400meters whilst being primarily a quick deployment area light for incidents, temporary or permanent in field camps and perimeters.

The system can run independently from generated mains whilst simultaneously charging UPS batteries for both the area light and other equipment. In the event of mains failure the battery system can automatically switch in to provide 12000 lumens for a period of 8 hours or longer upon request.

All batteries optics and parts are fully interchangeable between all parts of the system and remote power from system 8 can be configured for other unrelated equipments such as radios etc.

System 8 has built in temperature controls that automatically ensure during charge or use periods batteries are maintained above zero degrees and is therefore suitable for any environment on the planet.
